        Exam day and another attempt

        Completing this study area does not award certification. Follow your confirmed exam instructions and the current ServSafe requirements. If you do not pass, use your score report to target weak topics, revisit the explanations and practice again before another attempt.

        A new exam purchase is required for a retest. ServSafe permits two attempts within 30 days; after the second unsuccessful attempt, wait at least 60 days from the most recent attempt. No more than four attempts are permitted in 12 months.
